Orders and Deliveries

Orders are subject to product availability. If the requested items are not available, the user will be notified by email and can choose between waiting for the stock to be replenished or canceling the order.

The user acknowledges that the automatic confirmation of the order does not mean that his/her purchase offer has been definitively accepted. The fulfillment of the contract between MARRAF and the user will only occur when:
1. Payment for the order is processed, or;
2. The products are shipped or the services are started, the latter criterion being the decisive one.

At this point, the user will receive a shipping confirmation email, indicating that the contract has been formalized (“Shipping Confirmation”).

The contract will apply only to the products or services indicated in the Shipping Confirmation.

We take all necessary precautions to ensure the security of your payment and order information. However, in the absence of negligence on our part, we cannot be held liable for any losses resulting from unauthorized access by third parties to data provided during the use of the website or at the time of ordering.

Once the products have been delivered to the address specified, the risk in the goods will pass to you. We are not responsible for errors in the delivery address provided or if you fail to collect the products at the location specified. However, you will only be responsible for the risk of loss or damage to the products once they have been delivered to the destination address.

SHIPPING

For mainland Portugal and the rest of the world we apply fixed shipping rates.

Orders are distributed by CTT Correios de Portugal, SA. and we use the Registered Mail service.

Purchases worth 50 euros or more, with delivery in mainland Portugal, benefit from free shipping.

For shipments destined for outside the European Zone, MARRAF is not responsible for any customs clearance costs, these charges being the responsibility of the customer.

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY TIMES

Orders are shipped within a maximum period of 2 working days.

Delivery times vary depending on the destination:

Mainland Portugal: 1-3 working days;

Madeira: up to 5 working days;

Azores: up to 7 working days;

European Community countries: 7 – 11 working days;

Countries outside the European Community: up to 15 working days.

Delivery times may be extended during periods of high volume of orders, such as during the holidays or Christmas, and this is the responsibility of CTT Correios de Portugal, SA.

Furthermore, the delivery time may be changed if the order is held for customs inspection.

 

INTERNATIONAL CLIENTS

MARRAF operates in accordance with the legislation and marketing authorizations in force in Portugal and is not responsible for shipments of articles not authorized for sale in the destination country. In these cases:

  • If the shipment is made via Portuguese Post and the merchandise is returned due to not being authorized to enter the destination country, we will refund the value of the products, minus any Portuguese customs fees, in the form of a discount voucher, after receiving the returned order;
  • In certain exceptional destinations, due to customs interventions, the return may be automatically processed, with the cost being borne by the customer;
  • Although rare, in specific cases, the customer may have to go to the nearest post office to collect the order.

INSURANCE

All shipments are covered by loss insurance.

If the order is lost, MARRAF will refund the full amount or send a new one at no additional cost.

The order will only be considered lost after confirmation by the transport company.

PAYMENT METHODS

The User confirms that payment management is done by him/her, among the options available: Multibanco, credit card, MBWay, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Shop Pay and Union Pay.

We reserve the right to hold payment for a period of 24 hours. If payment is not successful, the User will be notified via the email address provided.

If you do not wish us to attempt to process your payment again, please cancel your order before it is processed.

SHIPPING INFORMATION

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive a code in your email so that you can locate it on the CTT website, using the following link:

If you have difficulty locating your order, please contact our customer support team.

  • If CTT is unable to deliver the order, a notice will be left in the mailbox indicating the CTT office where you can collect it. You will have 5 working days to collect the item.
  • If an order is returned to MARRAF due to the customer's responsibility and the customer wishes to have it resent, it will be necessary to pay new shipping costs.

Reshipping costs must be paid by bank transfer, and proof of payment must be sent to our customer support team or email, along with the returned order number and the name of the account holder from which the transfer was made.
